Food Services Department
Under the direction of the Regional Executive Chef and Senior General Manager, serves as the culinary expert for the department.
Reports to Regional Executive Chef
Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the Regional Executive Chef and Senior General Manager, serves as the culinary expert for the department.
Develops and maintains a culinary integrity program that trains and develops kitchen staff talents through training and leading by demonstration of proper cooking techniques and working knowledge of regulatory food safety and sanitation practices based on Hazzard Analysis Critical Control Points (HAACP), Health Department, Joint Commission, and internal standards.
Supervises staff throughout their assigned shift.

High School Diploma or equivalent
ServeSafe Certification
3 to 5 years of progressive work experience where culinary skills were demonstrated in a large quantity production within a commercial, healthcare, or educational food service operation required.
Strong oral and written communications capabilities and human relation skills.
Knowledge of Joint Commission and OSHA requirements.
Ability to make decisions in a variety of circumstances and situations.
Capable of effectively working with people from diverse populations with different levels of skill.
Knowledge of modified diets or healthcare experience; cook/chill production; and cash handling procedures.
Requires basic skills in reading, writing, and arithmetic.
Basic understanding of email, e-learning, intranet, and computer navigation. Ability to use Microsoft products for Word and Excel.
Pay Range: $23.97 - $33.56
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
