Job Title: Material Handler / Shipper and Receiver

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Material Handler / Shipper and Receiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for using a forklift to place pallets on shelves or remove them as needed. You will also utilize an RF scanner to scan packages for both incoming and outgoing shipments, print and affix labels to pallets, and organize them accordingly. No prior shipping/receiving or forklift experience is necessary as training will be provided. We are looking for individuals with a strong aptitude to learn and a solid work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to handle pallets.

• Use an RF scanner to scan packages in and out.

• Print and apply labels to pallets.

• Organize pallets according to labels.

• Work collaboratively with team members.

• Ensure timely attendance and reliability.

• Willingness to work overtime if necessary.

• Maintain a good work ethic and job tenure.

• Aptitude to learn new tasks.

• Reliable transportation.

• Good job history and tenure.

• Ability to work well with others.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience.

• Picking and packing experience.

• Forklift/shipping/receiving experience (1+ year preferred).

• Forklift, shipping, receiving, RF Scanner, aptitude, coachability.

Work Environment

The position is located in a massive 350,000 square foot facility with clear signage for easy navigation. Safety is a top priority, with many measures in place to ensure it. All personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, including steel-toed boots, for which you will be reimbursed. The facility employs a total of 350 individuals across various roles. Available shifts include 1st Shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 2nd Shift from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
