Robert Half is partnering with a wonderful company in Shreveport, LA that is searching for a Revenue Accountant to join their team. In this role, you will be engaging in a variety of tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, recording production payments, and assisting in financial reporting to investors.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage both accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Accurately process journal entries.

• Ensure all account reconciliations are prepared accurately.

• Handle bank reconciliations meticulously.

• Record production payments with precision.

• Deposit checks promptly.

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for investors.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of revenue accounting and accrual accounting.

• Utilize Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred

• Mastery of Accounting Functions, with a proven ability to manage a wide range of financial tasks.

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR), capable of managing and tracking all incoming payments.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Accrual Accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

• Expertise in Revenue Accounting, with a focus on ensuring proper revenue recognition.

• Strong ability in Account Reconciliation, adept at identifying and resolving discrepancies.

• Experience in preparing and posting Journal Entries, maintaining accuracy in all financial records.
