KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Specialist, Cyber Security SecOps Lead to join our Managed Services (https://advisory.kpmg.us/) practice.

Responsibilities

  • Create standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train security analysts on how to perform critical ongoing security operations

  • Oversee the execution of all routine security operations, from regular compliance tasks to ongoing reporting, and implement automation over time to improve on existing processes

  • Orchestrate incident response activities by bringing together clients, development teams, front line analysts, and breach response teams as needed

  • Contribute to the software development lifecycle by communicating security operation needs at the beginning of new developments

  • Work closely with the cyber security compliance lead to ensure that all compliance obligations are met on an ongoing basis

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of recent experience in security operations

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information technology, computer science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience

  • Skilled in problem solving and process design for how to meet compliance requirements as efficiently as possible given limited resources as well automate existing process to drive efficiency improvements over time

  • Able to pick up different security tools with ease (vulnerability scanners, endpoint detection and response tools, antivirus, cloud security posture management, and more)

  • Strong communication to connect compliance teams, development teams, and clients

  • Solid cyber security domain knowledge across compliance, risk, system administration, incident response, and more

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
