DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Customer Order Management Specialist to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning in Shoreview, MN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Efficient Order Management : By handling the entire order life cycle, you'll ensure smooth and accurate processing of orders, from entry to invoicing.
Customer Support Excellence : Providing consultative support and guidance, you'll help customers with lead times, availability, and minor technical issues, enhancing their overall experience.
Single Point of Contact : Acting as the main contact for order inquiries and escalations, you'll resolve issues promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Liaising with production, planning, and materials teams, you'll ensure timely order throughput and help achieve financial targets.
Proactive Communication : By developing and enhancing communication practices, you'll keep customers informed about processes, policies, and best practices, fostering a proactive customer-centric approach.
Continuous Improvement : Participating in improvement projects, you'll contribute to refining order management processes and enhancing efficiency.
Customer Visits Support : Supporting customer visits, you'll help build strong relationships and provide valuable insights into order management practices.
Team Coordination : Communicating with sales, warehouse, and logistics staff, you'll ensure order status is clear and customer queries are resolved efficiently.

Order Life Cycle Systems Knowledge : Master the steps within each system screen to process customer orders, modifications, and queries. This will ensure accurate and timely order processing and query resolution.
Order Processing : Manage the processing of customer orders from receipt to resolution of exceptions. This ensures orders are fulfilled according to customer requirements.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
College, university, or equivalent degree required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience:
- 0-2 years customer order management; customer-facing; supply chain/logistics; international trade experience preferred
QUALIFICATIONS
Additional Information:
At least 2 years of customer order management; customer-facing; supply chain/logistics; international trade experience is required
Candidate must fluently speak and write in Spanish
Manage the Cummins Generator Technologies - STAMFORD | AvK (CGT) Latin American customer service and ordering emails(which are fed into Salesforce) and respond via Salesforce in a timely manner to customer requests as per order management KPIs.
Communicates with our CGT Latin American customer's freight forwarders and provides necessary documentation for on-time and appropriate product collection at our facilities.
Provide container optimization advise to our CGT Latin American customers.
Supports order management processes involving payment in advance vs. order release, Letter of Credit (LOC), etc.
Supports and assists others on the Americas OMCS (Order Management Customer Service) Team
