Basic purpose of the job
Maximize sales of Brand on a short and long term basis by developing and implementing brand plans, tactics and high quality marketing strategies
Accountabilities
Ensure achievement of target sales, growth and market share of Brand/TA products
Related performance indicators
• Lead the marketing and sales team to ensure that product objectives are clearly developed, communicated, understood and implemented in the Japanese market
• Ensure recommendations are implemented to achieve optimal market performance and ROI for all products
Manage target costs within the department
Related performance indicators
• Oversee the product expense budget in a way to guarantee the optimal use of available resources
• Maximize profitability for products without compromising long term goals and objectives
• Develop, monitor and manage product forecasts and brand expense budget
Understand customers(including time in Field) to identify new ways to provide innovative value to customers

Maximize long-term value of Brand/TA products

• Seek new opportunities and initiatives (i.e. in-licensing, co-operations, novel therapeutic approaches or indications, phase IV studies, line extensions and general development of the product line) within the market, potentially contributing to the net value if deemed appropriate.
• Provide valuable and high quality input into pipeline marketing projects
• Ensure for covering all of required LTF assumption
Oversee the development and implementation of product strategy and PRIME
Related performance indicators
• Ensure the Corporate IBP/ICP and Strategy into short/mid/long-term Marketing plans for the Japanese market
• Overall Brand Management (Brand Team Management and Coordination with external, internal and International)
• Monitor and understand latest trends in the market, competition and product performance
• Develop and implement marketing plan tactics to support the brand strategy, in collaboration with other Brand team members and external agencies/vendors.
• Ensure best use of right forecasting tools
Ensures successful implementation of the marketing plan

• Assure the implementation of all actions which have been agreed with sales function is in line with the planned range
• Develop appropriate implementation plans in case crucial KPIs are not appropriately indicated
• Execute contractual obligation by partners
Develop sales channels/partners based on GTM approach for effective sales operation

• Coordinate activities with internal and external partners/vendors to support and ensure the effective implementation of marketing plans/tactics
• Monitor partner’s sales & conduct necessary actions
Contribute to overall Human Pharma Business Strategy and Management

• Participate in strategic discussions and the day to day management and decision making process in the Human Pharma Leadership Team
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the Human Pharma Strategy
Regulatory and / or Organisational Requirements
Ensures all tasks are carried out in accordance with respective applicable BI Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), BI processes and regulatory requirements. Ensures that all interactions and engagements are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards and that all work is accomplished with quality and in accordance with BI values

Minimum Education/Degree Requirements
