JOB SUMMARY

Maintain supply inventory at Sheridan Memorial Hospital & Clinics, support units and in the Material’s warehouse.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Learn and use inventory control software and handheld device for supply replenishment and material’s delivery. Microsoft Office software experience preferred.

  • Input, track and maintain Expiration data in warehouse, clinical and support departments.

  • Maintain all areas of material storage in a neat, organized and clean manner.

  • Polite, professional and complete interaction and communication with clinical, support staff, patients and visitors.

  • Clean driving record

  • Safe operation of equipment, including, but not limited to, automobile, forklift, pallet jack, box cutters, floor cleaner and printers.

  • Work cohesively with Supply Chain team of Clerks, Buyers and Receivers to complete daily tasks and project work.

  • Curiosity to learn & memorize information, as well as add efficiencies into daily tasks, and overall processes.

  • Possess a strong work ethic with some heavy lifting, and be willing to work in acclimate weather conditions.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department / organization.

    Education / Experience / License and Certifications

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED), required.

  • At least one (1) year experience with an inventory control system, preferred.

  • Valid, current driver's license is required.

Additional Skills

  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.

  • Basic computer knowledge.

Specific demands not listed: Possible exposure to blood and or body fluids / infectious disease / hazardous waste requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Exposure to odorous chemicals / specimens and Latex products.
