Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform mechanical repairs of conveyor, bottling, and packaging systems. The role involves motor changes, troubleshooting and diagnosing faults, changing drives and belts, gearboxes, performing preventative maintenance, and working on various equipment throughout the facility. The primary responsibility is to field service calls throughout the facility to diagnose and troubleshoot any issues. Common tasks include fixing stoppage of machines/conveyors, changing bad cylinders, fixing photo eyes, replacing chains, and more. Preventative maintenance is a smaller portion of the job and is completed during a 'cleaning window' which lasts 2-3 hours every 1-2 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs on conveyor, bottling, and packaging systems

• Field service calls throughout the facility to diagnose and troubleshoot issues

• Fix stoppages of machines and conveyors

• Change bad cylinders and fix photo eyes

• Replace chains and perform motor changes

• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in various equipment

• Change drives and belts, and work on gearboxes

• Perform preventative maintenance during scheduled cleaning windows

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00
