Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

Work directly with the supervisor to conduct preventative maintenance, routine, and emergency repairs on equipment and plant structures. A significant part of the job involves servicing and repairing robot welders. This position requires a candidate to be multi-skilled with both mechanical and electrical expertise. Recent repair tasks have included fixing chillers, motor swaps, process water systems, air compressors, piece changes on robots, facilities work, conveyor upkeep, and more.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and plant structures.

• Conduct routine and emergency repairs on various machinery.

• Service and repair robot welders, primarily Fanuc robots.

• Repair chillers, perform motor swaps, and maintain process water systems.

• Maintain and repair air compressors and conveyors.

• Execute piece changes on robots and facilities work.

• Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC drives.

• Handle heavy electrical tasks including bending conduit.

• Work with blueprints, schematics, and perform electrical troubleshooting.

Essential Skills

• Robotics experience, preferably robotic welding (95% Fanuc).

• Experience in troubleshooting AC/DC drives.

• Proficiency in pneumatics.

• Ability to bend conduit.

• Extensive electrical experience.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

• Experience with industrial maintenance, including hydraulics, pneumatics, wiring, repair, and preventive maintenance.

• Skills in PLC troubleshooting and control.

• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience minimum.

• 6+ years of industrial maintenance experience with robotics, PLC, electrical, and mechanical experience will be considered for Journeyman level.

• Robotics experience is a huge plus, but not required as training will be provided.

• Automotive experience preferred.

• Maintenance degree preferred.

Work Environment

Work in a team-oriented, climate-controlled environment. The facility is newer (established in 2016) and very clean for the industry. There are no presses, which helps with maintaining cleanliness and reducing noise levels. The available shift is 3rd shift (10:30pm-6:30am) from Sunday to Thursday. There are currently three openings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95000.00 - $122000.00/yr.
