Philips Director, Global SW CoE - CT/AMI in Shenyang, China

This role is responsible to ensure the multi-site, multi-platform of CTAMI are delivering toward one business goal and enable first time right quality and speed (T2M and T2Customers) with clear roadmap and execution plan. This role will be the linking pin between Incisive console, iPatient console, Gantry SW, Couch SW, DMS SW and CIRS SW platforms. This role will work very close with Global software architect and Platform leaders to ensure Quality and Speed.

Your role:

  • Provide leadership and direction for the SW COE teams. Responsible to work with global product and software platform teams at different locations (Bangalore, Shenyang, Cleveland and Haifa), Philips research and external parties

  • Direct and enable SW Roadmap for new product introductions and sustaining engineering through group leaders to achieve customer centric, quality (i.e. reliability serviceability and manufacturability and performance), and schedule and cost targets

  • Implement and guide Lean practices, iterative development and align trains. Lead and/or participate in the continuous improvement of engineering, software and development processes, tools, and quality and development efficiency

  • Drive the collaboration with product and cross-functional teams that are located at multi-site regards to resource planning for people, processes and products in order to meet identified business objectives

  • Create and maintain the technology and competency roadmap within the area of responsibility and drive development strategies that yield common platforms and branches across the product portfolio and collaboratively with technologies across Healthcare business units

  • Assemble the necessary skill sets and competencies within the department to resolve complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of CT and Workflow

  • Responsible for financial performance of Global Software including expense control, staffing plans, budget preparation and quarterly forecasts

  • Provide excellent people leadership by attracting, retaining and motivating highly skilled people, ensuring development plans are in place for all and ensuring effective diversity. Handle performance as also non-performance and help develop the next gen leaders for the organization

  • Nurture and manage relationships with customers, key markets, product port folio teams, industry groups, government bodies and suppliers and be the face of Philips Healthcare

You're the right fit if:

  • 18+ years of extensive experience in the medical devices domain, with a strong background in managing the entire product lifecycle

  • Should have strong experience with system verification and integration

  • Have knowledge on system engineering and architecture

  • Strong exposure to DevSecOps practices

  • Good stakeholder management skills

  • Have exposure to design controls / QMS / audits

  • Have exposure to R&D budget management

  • Have exposure to R&D SW group leadership / people leadership

  • Strong exposure in implementing Lean agile / SAFe within R&D SW teams

  • Exposure to end to end program management
