Job Description:
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at Pitney Bowes, you will join a leading technology company specializing in intelligent devices connected to cloud platforms and infrastructure. Our mission is to innovate and deliver cutting-edge solutions that enhance how organizations of all sizes and their users interact with sending and receiving packages and mail.
The wage for this position is $120000 / annually, with the actual pay dependent on your skills and experience as they relate to the job requirements and the location where you will be performing the job.
This position will be located in our Shelton, CT , office. You will work a hybrid schedule, with up to four days in the office.
You are:
A highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer who is eager to join a dynamic team. With your years of experience, you bring a strong background in quality assurance, focusing on intelligent devices and cloud-based infrastructure. This role requires test automation, agile methodologies, and production client support expertise.
You will:
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for intelligent devices and cloud platforms
Create and manage comprehensive test cases, ensuring traceability to requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement QA processes and best practices
Participate in agile testing within a SAFe Agile framework
Provide production client support with the objective of troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly
Utilize test automation tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage
Document and report defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution
Maintain and update test documentation in Atlassian Jira and Confluence
Track and manage test cases using TestRail or equivalent test case management tools
Work with hardware components that comprise on-premise systems, including connecting, installing, and shipping components. This may entail light lifting of components weighing up to 15 pounds
Travel to client sites in limited instances, with travel expected to be 10% or less
You have:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent OR
5+ years of experience in QA automation, with a focus on intelligent devices and cloud infrastructure
Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
Strong understanding of agile testing methodologies and SAFe Agile framework
Experience with Atlassian suite, including Jira and Confluence
Experience with TestRail or equivalent test case tracking tool.
Experience with cloud-based IoT systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
US citizenship and ability to support Federal and US DoD Agencies
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI
