JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the selection and development of process technologies for the manufacture of products.

  • Work with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Product Engineering, Regulatory, and Supply Chain personnel to resolve production and quality issues; use appropriate techniques to solve problems and develop efficient and sustainable manufacturing practices.

  • Conduct process capability studies and develop process controls as needed.

  • Contribute to appropriate risk management activities related to the manufacturing of the company’s products.

  • Contribute to successful product development project completion by participating in process development and documentation activities.

  • Manage process optimization projects.

  • Conduct formal root cause analyses and corrective actions on quality concerns, process, safety, and environmental issues.

  • Develop project justifications and capacity analysis.

  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience – 5+ is preferred.

  • Understanding of DOE, SPC, and industrial statistics is desired.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and project schedules.

  • Demonstrated data-driven problem-solving ability.

  • Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
