Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician with Electrical troubleshooting and repair experience. While Electrical and PLC experience is a major plus, it is not required. The ideal candidate must be willing and eager to perform Mechanical maintenance and be experienced with hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Understanding ladder logic, motor drives, and heavy industrial equipment is essential. Additionally, the ability to read schematics and blueprints is preferred, especially experience with PLC5's.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical maintenance on industrial equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems.
Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Understand and work with ladder logic.
Read and interpret schematics and blueprints.
Work with motor drives and heavy industrial equipment.
Participate in mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic work as assigned.
Essential Skills
Extremely strong PLC and Electrical experience
Mechanical maintenance
Hydraulic/Pneumatic Maintenance
Ladder Logic
Experience with motor drives and heavy industrial equipment
Ability to read schematics and blueprints
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working with metal production machines such as heaters, boilers, and chillers
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled (hot) environment
Experience with ACDC and VFD
PLC programming and troubleshooting

Work Environment
You will be working in a non-climate controlled manufacturing plant containing large machinery such as Level Winds, Breakdown Blocks, a 3000 ton lowey extrusion press, Pilger Mill, Annealers, Air Compressors, Billet Gas fired furnace, Induction Coils for heating billets, chillers, water treatment systems, cooling tower, water pumps, hydraulic pumps, VFD's - AC and DC, PLC's (old PLC5's), Draw Bench, high fin machines, finishing machines, and a cast house. You will primarily work on the 2nd and 3rd shifts, with initial training on the day shift for the first 3-4 weeks.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00
