Robert Half Dispatcher in Sharonville, Ohio

Description We are in search of a Dispatcher to join our team based in SHARONVILLE, Ohio. This role involves managing customer interactions, coordinating service resources, and overseeing daily operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Customer Service, Answering Inbound Calls, Dispatching, and Email Correspondence. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for customers, addressing their service and support issues through phone and email.

• Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.

• Manage the dispatch of technicians based on customer needs and operations requirements.

• Handle all customer calls, answering inquiries and conducting necessary follow-ups.

• Collaborate with the accounting team on new customer setups and purchase order inquiries.

• Manage daily labor to maintain productivity levels, working closely with the Operations Manager.

• Record technician activity as part of the technician team support functions.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, routing them to appropriate staff, and responding to special requests.

• Utilize technology to track dispatched technicians for maximum productivity and cost efficiency.

• Schedule weekly meetings with Operations Management to prepare schedules for service visits, matching technicians’ skills to tasks.

• Drive the productivity and profitability of an assigned team of technicians.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Service Management Software and MS Office (Excel and Word) in daily tasks.

• Undertake other responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to training and special projects. Requirements • Proven experience in a dispatcher role or similar

• Demonstrated ability in customer service

• Excellent skills in answering inbound calls

• Proficiency in dispatching tasks and coordinating workflows

• Solid capabilities in managing email correspondence

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• High level of organizational and time management skills

• Good problem-solving abilities and detail-oriented

• Basic computer literacy and comfortable using dispatching software

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment

• Flexibility to work in various shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
