General Summary: The Customer Service Support position will provide provide optimum support to Customers in the Fluids Division and the Customer Service Team as required to maintain and enhance existing business and to obtain new business. Essential Duties: Assist Customers, Customer Service team members and/or sales representatives with any inquiry or problem concerning coordination of deliveries, availability of product, coordination of returns and other issues as assigned. Process orders in an accurate, efficient and expedient manner Attend daily Plant schedule meetings and update the Customer Service team on any ongoing or upcoming issues with order fulfillment; act as the Plant liaison for Customer Service Team members Assist with resolving credit and return issues as required. Issue return authorizations. Review credit report daily and follow up with Credit department as necessary to keep Customer Service and sales manager advised of order delays due to credit issues. Gather documentation for and create Credit Requests Review daily late backlog with the Plant and provide updates to Customer Service and Sales Assist with data entry projects as needed Provide coverage for the Customer Service Team as needed All other duties as assigned Education/Certification Requirements: High school education with some college or minimum of two years' experience in a customer service environment. Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet applications and order entry. Proficient in written and oral communications. Experience Requirements: Minimum two years of customer service experience, preferably within a manufacturing setting. Skill Requirements: Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office and Excel Excellent customer relations skills Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary role, requiring use of typical office equipment such as a computer, copy machine, laptop and cell phone.
