Position Summary
We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist. This position is primarily sought at providing solutions to service engineers and collaborating with the global technical support team to resolve hot issues, localize after-sales support solutions for new products, and drive improvements in instrument quality.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support and solutions for service engineers regarding customer requests.
Collaborate with the global technical support team to resolve field technical issues and ensure customer happiness.
Drive the localization of after-sales support solutions for new products, ensuring they meet local market demands.
Identify and drive improvements in instrument quality to improve product reliability and user experience.
Establish and maintain a local knowledge base, ensuring the accuracy and timely update of technical information.
Coordinate and deliver technical training for engineers, improving the technical capabilities of the service team to align with business needs.
Provide technical consulting services to other service departments, including setting safety stock levels and crafting service products.
Write and update technical support documentation and training materials to ensure the transfer and sharing of technical knowledge.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
Experience
Service experience in the industry of molecular or atomic spectrum (preferably technical support or sales support).
3 years or above of hands-on experiences with at least 2 of below technical skills: FT-IR, FT-NIR, Raman or NMR Spectrum, trace elemental analysis instrument like ICP-OES or ICP-MS. familiar with the principles and applications of these instruments.
Project management experience is a plus.
