Day to Day Responsibilities:
Execute the work assigned by project leaders and supervisors
Understand manufacturing requirements, design and develop process, demonstrate process feasibility and capability, finalize process concept and specification.
Take part in or lead on problem solving, process fundamental understanding and improvement.
Collect process data from experimentation, pilot run or production and do 1st level data analysis.
Design and conduct experimentation aimed at investigating manufacturing process alternatives
Conduct hands on work in a laboratory and pilot environment.
Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield and scrap rate and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
Collaborate with engineering, production and quality assurance teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Measure and communicate progress against established objectives.
Participate in cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures.
Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
Be an active team member
Requirement:
Minimum M.S. degree in relevant engineering filed such as chemistry, physics, Material Science, or similar
≥5 years’ experience on engineering field. (engineering, production, and/or manufacturing experience)
Experience in problem solving with process improvement tools and methodologies such as Kaizen, 5s, and Value Stream Mapping
Basic analytical skill that able to process data efficiently to provide solution to problems
Experience with process automation and control systems.
Basic understanding of quality management systems such as ISO standards.
Manufacturing and engineering experience (international/multi-cultural manufacturing-based project experiences is a plus)
Acquaintance technical fundamentals with process engineering and materials
Able to collaborate across organizational boundaries.
Results oriented and high level of commitment.
The ability and self-driven to learn new technologies and processes quickly
Proven technical presentation skills
Good communication skills both verbal and written, including accurate recording of experiments, creating detailed documents, and reporting out or presentation within team.
Good written and oral communications skills in English
Able to collaborate with globe team in different time zones
