Description

Amazon is looking for a Senior Mass Seller Activation Program Manager with a proven record and project management experience to join CN Global Selling team based in Shanghai. The objective of the Senior Mass Seller Activation Program Manager is to own and develop programs to engage with sellers and support their business growth through program driven management mechanism. You will create project plans, develop and optimize mechanisms/processes, coordinating cross-teams and driving execution, and communicate to senior management on program status, risks, process changes and support needed. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will leverage his/her extensive project management experience, combined with deep analytical capabilities and a keen sense of innovation, to lead program development from conception to operation excellence.

Your superior communication, organizational and technical skills will enable you to operate in a fast-moving and sometimes ambiguous environment, where you will have the autonomy to take full control and responsibility for achieving our objectives. Key job responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Build and Implement new programs of Seller engagement, in a scalable and automated way, with new tech or mechanism development.

  • Establish effective program mechanisms to drive the timely program planning and execution in high-quality. Ability to identify better ways of working at scale through building new mechanisms and processes

  • Analyze program metrics to indicate issues and opportunities to improve operation, and implement operational excellence into the business development framework.

  • Conduct deep dive analysis on issues affecting Seller business performance and provide the Voice of the Seller as an input into product development and engagement program improvement.

  • Generate high quality Seller insight and make influence to product team and key stakeholders to make Seller’s life easier.

  • Work with cross-team stakeholders to develop programs and deliver operational excellence with interfacing directly, influencing and aligning executives, business leaders, key stakeholders across teams to prioritize, optimize resource allocation and ensure program success.

  • Keep fine-tune working process, improve team productivity and efficiency. Show super strong competency in delivering result, bias for actions, invent and simplify, dive deep, ownership, earn trust and customer obsession

  • Develop and improve reporting across a broad range of program metrics. Regular communicate the program progress with leaders team and multi-layer stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

  • 5-10 years experience in marketing/user operations in internet industries, prefer related role in e-commerce industry.

  • 3+ years of product manager experience in tech / internet industry, familiar with PRD, BRD, PMD, prototype and etc.

  • 3+ years of experience in building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.

  • 3+ years of experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.

  • Demonstrated drive to set and achieve aggressive goals while not compromising on the quality of the work.

  • Demonstrated ability to organize, plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines through process improvements and communication practices.

  • Strategic thinking and quantitative analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and/or other data analysis tools.

  • Passion for business and high attention to details.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using SQL to pull data and metrics to deliver reports

  • Experience with basic HTML, website management and content management systems (CMS)

  • 3+ years of segmentation and developing customer profiles experience

  • 2+ years of supporting quantitative and qualitative consumer research experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

  • Deal with ambiguity

  • Experience on complex projects management

  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, as well as stakeholder expectations.
