About the role

• The primary responsibility of the position is the engineering development of Air-cooled Centrifugal chiller system technologies.

• The candidate will be primarily responsible to develop solutions that best meet the market needs by integrating multiple technologies in the product. To do this, the engineer must have a strong understanding of the thermodynamics’ of the centrifugal compressor, chiller system, chiller modeling, tube in shell heat transfer, pressure vessel design and compression application.

• Will be in a team work for Global Product requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

As a (Sr. System Engineer), you’ll be responsible for:

• Integration of Air-cooled Centrifugal chiller.

• Validate product design performance, capability and reliability in the laboratory and field

• Thermodynamic based modeling and optimization of chiller system design

• Develop chiller system architecture that meets or exceeds the product development requirements

• Develop and optimize heat exchanger components in collaboration with heat transfer technology experts

• Collaborate with the compression team to seamlessly integrate the compressor design into the chiller design

• Collaborate with supply chain to meet product cost target

• Collaborate with manufacturing faculties to effectively implement design into production

As a minimum you must have:

• Teamwork skills required with resilience to work under pressure

• Familiar with product development processes

• Centrifugal chiller experience and UL/ETL experience preferred

• Fluent English (both written and spoken)
