Job Summary:
The Site Security Operations Coordinator, assigned to one of Pinkerton's largest global clients, will be responsible for managing the day-to-day physical security operations across multiple locations within China. The Coordinator ensures that Site Security Supervisors and security teams deliver services effectively in adherence to global security standards and meet the expectations set by the regional leadership. This role also supports regional leadership in all operational issues including the preparation and execution of incident responses which occur within the region.
Essential Functions:
Represent Pinkerton's core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.
Routinely assess the proficiency and effectiveness of the physical security staff to ensure vendor and client expectations are met.
Serve as the lead coordinator for physical security response for business disruptions and crisis management.
Work collaboratively with the client's cross functional teams and security leadership team to prepare for, respond to, and recover from all incidents and crisis events that may impact the client in China.
Work with the APAC Physical Security team to anticipate, identify, and evaluate emerging risks, operational procedures, and response plans.
Support the regional security leadership team to communicate and disseminate information by using established communication channels and best practices to key partners.
Take an active role, dependent on scope, to provide contributions toward related projects and collaborate with internal partners on operational initiatives or projects.
Review and update existing physical security documentation on a routine basis while identifying areas to improve efficiency and align procedures with global standards.
Regularly communicate with regional security leadership on operational challenges, ideas, and initiatives.
Assist the regional training team to train and exercise the physical security teams to enhance their security operational skills and service delivery as well as to ensure procedures, escalation guidelines, and personnel competency are tested and reviewed.
Assist with administration of onboarding and offboarding as required by the vendor and/or the client.
Assist as required in site audit and compliance reviews.
All other duties, as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred with at least five years of physical security, risk management, crisis management and/or business resiliency and two or more years in a supervisory role across multiple locations.
