Support R&D and AE for TWC catalysts aging / Evaluate testing according to internal and external requirements
Install engine, catalysts, vehicle, fixtures, measurement devices according to test requirement
Operate and maintenance test cell equipment and instrumentation regularly
Support trouble-shooting on test engine, equipment and facility of test cells
Delivery test data on the database daily
Further tasks/assignment could be given if needed
Main Tasks
Monitor test cells, assist in the running of test, reporting any discrepancies to team leader, and maintain a concise test cell log
Assist other technicians or team leader in charge in the installation of engine, Catalyst systems, while completing on the job training to gain the correct working procedures and relevant experience
Help and assist in the installation of engine parts and test equipment, while completing on the job training to gain the correct working procedures and relevant experience
Assist engine maintenance and test replenishments to gain experience and the confidence to complete these tasks as they occur
Assist in engine and system trouble shooting to gain both experience and confidence in the correct method of approach, in the systematic correction of any faults, warnings, or shutdowns occurring during the normal operation of a test
Wear the correct company uniform and items of personal safety equipment as set out in the Company Staff Manual and follow the guidelines and procedures set in EHS manual
Minimum Education and Qualification Required for the Position
- Education:
College degree or above, majored in engine, mechanical or similar field
- Working Experience:
2 years experience in engine lab with relevant skills
- Technical & Professional Knowledge: (Please be measurable and specific)
Engine setup on testbed, driveshaft alignment, Temperature/pressure sensors setup, Testbed operation daily
