Position Type Management

The Senior Finance Manager supports the Vice President & Controller, Greater China in the Continent’s finance operations focusing on the Finance Planning and Analysis of the continent’s G&A investment. This position also serve as the business partner to continent leaders to provide financial insights to support G&A investment decisions to drive GC business strategy. The job location is Shanghai or Hongkong

SCOPE/BUSINESS CONTEXT/EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

Expected Contributions

  • Long Range Plan:

Support continent finance leaders develop the G&A long range plan that enable continent business strategy within corporate guidelines

  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

Develop and manage the annual G&A budget and quarterly forecasts. Work closely with continent business leaders to gather and reflect business insights and drive business decisions. Work closely with HQ and continent finance leaders to align and develop continent investment guardrail.

  • Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze monthly G&A expense variances against budget, forecast, and prior periods.

  • Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within G&A expenses.

  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track Continent G&A expenses. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of G&A expenses to internal stakeholders.

  • Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

  • Serve as a financial advisor to department heads on SG&A-related matters.

  • Process Improvement:

  • Collaborate with HQ and continent finance team improve SG&A financial planning and analysis tools and processes. Drive simplification and automation.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Experience

  • Minimum of 8 years experiences in FP&A. Preferably with a focus on SG&A

  • Experience in developing financial analytical reports, business intelligence or financial planning tools;

  • Leadership presence will be an added advantage;

  • Preference for Big 4 external audit background;

Education or Certification

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.

  • CPA or advanced degree preferred.

Ability to analyze complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.

Understanding of key business drivers and how G&A expenses impact overall business performance.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

Precision in preparing and reviewing financial reports to ensure accuracy.
