Amazon Program Ops Manager, NSR Outbound in Shanghai, China

Amazon Global Selling: The Marketplace business exists in 20 countries with a vision to offer customers Earth’s largest selection. CN New Seller Recruit (NSR) team aim to deliver on this vision by explore, inspire and empower quality CN new Sellers to launch and success on Amazon global marketplaces, with friction-free Seller experiences.

NSR Outbound Team currently is looking for a talented Program Ops Manager to drive program success and data empowerment. The ideal candidate should be able to manage complex initiatives, streamline process, improve efficiency and deliver solutions with limited guidance. He/she should have excellent communication, analytical and structured problem-solving skills along with sharp business acumen. The experience of working autonomously with multiple teams in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment is highly preferred.

Key job responsibilities

• Defines strategies and programs to achieve business goals, build the mechanism, and drive the enhancement

• Provide data and business insights, in terms of ad-hoc or regular data reports, to the team for data-driven decision making or performance improvements

• Closely work with local business team and MP stakeholders to drive program implementation and feature adoption by local sellers

• Drive local initiatives and partner with Global and local team to scale up across 3 Marketplaces (US, EU, JP)

• Build mechanism and acting as a proxy to reflect VOS in a systematic way

• Work relentlessly to improve existing process to ensure a seamless communication across stakeholders

• Regularly update program progress and call out hits and misses to the leadership

• Support critical business reviews

A day in the life

There is no typical day as program manager. You could start the day with an early meeting debating with global counterparts, or brainstorming session on a critical issue surfaced during biz review, or self-studying latest industry trends you are interested in, or fire-fighting an urgent escalation.

The topics you encounter are seldom repetitive, and most likely they are across a broad range of data analytics, program plan, to deal execution and opportunity optimization. In Amazon, it’s always Day 1!

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software

  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

  • 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience

  • 5+ years experience in business analysis, sales operations, program management or related fields

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience

  • Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

  • Expert in Excel, SQL and data visualization tools (QuickSight, PowerBI, etc.)
