What is this this position about?

A Hilton Business Development Intern in support team will help with all administrative activities under the scope of development and deal activities in Greater China & Mongolia. The position’s main responsibilities are inclusive of admin tasks, deal-related tasks and side tasks assigned by supervisor.

What will I be doing?

As a Business Development Intern, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Deal Related Tasks (40%)

• Assist to prepare internal project documents that need a further level of approval for high-level committees

• Participate in preparing project materials for Request for Proposals

• Conduct project desktop research and market analysis under the guidance of senior Teammates to evaluate business opportunities for further expansion of our brands

Admin Tasks (40%)

• Maintain databases and reporting documents related to development work

• Assist with internal information circulation and documents filing relating to development

• Prepare administrative documents for meetings

Side Task (20%)

• Assist to coordinate development marketing activities and events

• Any other projects and duties assigned

Candidate Qualifications

• Chinese (PRC) passport holders only

• Available for at least 3 months (6 months preferred)

• Current undergraduate/graduate school students

• Minimum 1-2-year study experience in Hospitality/Management/Business/Economics/Real Estate or other related majors

• Overseas study experience preferred but NOT required

• Fluent in both Chinese and English (written & spoken)

• Excellent in MS Office, especially in PPT and Excel

• Skilled in preparing presentations

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to take initiative to identify, prioritize and implement all elements required for support team to fulfill responsibilities in keeping with core strategic goals

• Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to effectively address any issue in collaboration with others as appropriate and ability to proactively identify and prevent potential problems.
