Amazon Business-to-Business (B2B) currently is looking for an experienced and talented Sr. Program Ops Manager, who can lead the B2B Program Management team of senior and diverse talents, make high judgmental and strategic decisions based on in-depth data, and effectively influence worldwide senior leadership to drive complex initiatives and product launches to move the needle for China business growth and improve China seller experience. The ideal candidate should be able to deal with ambiguity with resilience, successfully influence diverse global senior leadership with holistic mechanism, manage and move forward complex initiatives/programs, and make strategic quality decisions and trade-offs based on data and resources. He/she should be a seasoned people manager with effective communication skills while earning trust from others and with experienced program management skills on top of sharp business acumen. The experience of working autonomously across various level of experience from global leadership to local business teams in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment is highly preferred.

Key job responsibilities

• Own the delivery of timely business operations and high quality work products.

• Collaborate with business teams to identify issues, manage key business operations processes, set priorities, provide systematic solutions, and drive execution excellence.

• Leverage Amazon approved data tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau and Salesforce.com to manage and optimize sales opportunity.

• Work relentlessly to improve existing processes and using data driven decision making to make recommendations for systems, process, and business improvements.

• Develop SOPs, workflows, metrics, reports or other analytical tools to maximize productivity.

• Assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints and encourage risk taking behavior to maximize business benefit.

• Communicate effectively and clearly on issues identified, in professional written or verbal manner

• Liaise with other departments such as Selling Partner Support, Merchant Investigations, or Global teams as required to resolve Selling Partners’ issues and questions.

• Have an entrepreneurial spirit, show excellent judgment, be passionate about high standards (is never satisfied with the status quo), deliver innovative solutions.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in sales operations, program management, data analysis, or other related field.

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with professional experience with Excel/SQL; ability to handle data and metrics to back up assumptions, develop tools, and evaluate outcomes.

• Ability to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities.

• Technical (Internet & AI) savvy is required.

• Enthusiasm and strong self-motivation.

• Excellent time management skill with a high degree of flexibility, able to work independently for multitask with good prioritization.

• Demonstrate appropriate sense of urgency for contact response time in the face of variable workflow.

• Demonstrate effective communication, composure, and professional attitude.

• Exemplary performance record, particularly with regard to quality and productivity.

• Proficient in both English and Chinese verbal and written communication.

• Strong ownership and possess a solid “can-do” attitude

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field

  • Master in data processing, automation and optimization, experience in scripting (e.g. Python) and data visualization

  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
