dsm-firmenich Associate Manager, MRS Quality in Shanghai, China

This position assures that the Contract Manufacturers/Tollers live up to the quality standards that HNC has stated to comply to, manage all aspects to create and maintain an effective, fit for purpose, 3rd Party Manufacturer (Contract Manufacturing/Tolling) network for market ready solutions (MRS) product in the region and manages performance of the active 3PMs.

Your key responsibilities

  • Be the contact person for Pre-audit Questionnaire completion with 3PM.

  • Plan and conduct Qualification audit to 3PM.

  • In the case of needed, qualify Raw material that specially chosen for the use in MRS product.

  • Prepare MRS Finished Product specification (FPS) with Application team.

  • Prepare MSR Product stability protocols, follow up the stability plan with 3PM and evaluate the stability report.

  • Review and keep 3PM's Raw material Specification and Packaging Material Specification for reference.

  • Prepare Quality Agreement between DSM and 3PM, get approval with signature, store in Document Management System defined and renewal at the lifetime determined.

  • Review of MRS Product COA (Certificate of Analysis) and COC (Certificate of Conformance).

  • Issue DSM certificates of analysis for MRS product, if needs.

  • Release of MRS products in SAP or in other ways, if needs.

  • Establish Quality plan for each 3PM base on Risk evaluation and Quality Performance.

  • Maintain the Quality review with 3PM.

  • Requalify 3PM according to plan and/or situation

  • Be the main contact person for 3PM in all quality aspects

  • Be the main contact person for customer and/or consumer complaints for MRS product in the Complaint Management System.

  • Coordinate with 3PM for their complaint investigation report within timely manner as agreed.

  • Follow up the corrective and preventive action of 3PM.

  • As a core team of MRS project, participate in Market Ready Solutions project meetings (internal and with client).

You bring

  • Minimum Bachelor degree or equivalent in Food, chemistry, pharmaceutics, biology or related fields.

  • Good knowledge of Chinese regulatory environment for food related industry.

  • Proven project management skills.

  • Risk Assessment, Problem Solving and Analytical knowledge.

  • Trained in quality and food safety systems (i.e. GMP, auditing, standards, regulations etc…)

  • Minimum 5 years in a QA, QC or Regulatory Affairs position in manufacturer of food related industry.

  • Project management experience.

  • Expertise in cGMP activities with, Food, Dietary Supplements and FSSC 22000.

  • Experience in Risk assessment and Quality System auditing standards.

  • Experience in 3rd party manufacturers management would be advantage.

  • With B2C experience is preferential.
