The Analog Field Applications Engineer (AFAE) is responsible for partnering with Sales and providing Analog related technical expertise throughout the sales cycle. The AFAE proactively identifies current products and/or creative solutions to solve existing customer projects and create new functionality/opportunities. In this role, the AFAE uses in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to gain credibility and develop relationships with customers.
This role is responsible for application support for FPD-LINK products used in AUTO IVI and ADAS. Key responsibilities include:
Answer customer questions and supporting design-in activities for released products. This includes:
o Forum and email questions from customers
o Schematic and Layout Review of customer application
o Debug of customer problems by re-creating issues in our evaluation boards and/or customer boards
o On-site support for customer board as required as well as for technical training and deep-dive

M inimum requirements:
Bachelor's in electrical engineering, microelectronics or related degree
3+ years' work experience in hardware/software design or analog chips AE/TE/FAE
Experience with design, analysis, and debug of related circuits or sub-systems
Familiar with high speed signal knowledge.
Experience to support customers in tech issue debugging
Good English verbal and read/written skills
Preferred qualifications:
Familiar with SerDes architecture and theory, experienced in using or debugging SerDes
Ability to run simulations, and create/ review schematics and Giga Hz signal layout
Familiar with China automotive market information, with supporting related customer experience
Strong communication skills and the ability to proactively drive customer activity
Strong English verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
