General Summary:
Tests and modifies general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware. Interprets wireless specifications. Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Documents systems-level defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers. Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents problems with program function, output, or content. Develops testing programs that assess effectiveness of a new system or modification of an existing system.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Test Engineering or related work experience.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:
Coordinates with global solution team and make sure solution launch in China data collection vehicle.
Responsible for measurement devices assembly in vehicle and set up.
Responsible for multi sensor set up and calibration.
Responsible for toolchain adaption and optimization.
Support data collection team for technical vehicle/devices issue.
Support workshop for technical topics like Vehicle/Devices assembly or on-site technical support
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Diploma: Bachelor/master’s degree in Electronic/Electrical or relative domain,
Working Experience: 3+ years test device/vehicle/bench set up and test toolchain development related experience,
Engineering Concepts, Engineering Technology, Industrial Safety are required.
Good technical skills about common measurement devices such as Vector/DSPACE/ETAS tools, vehicle Gateway/time-syn./Recording devices and etc for data collection measurement system
Familiar with common communication protocols such as CAN/LIN/Flexray/Ethernet,
Fluent written and verbal communications skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in test related toolchain/scripts development.
Experience with ADAS or related data collection activities.
Knowledge of ADAS/AD systems, including sensors like radar, camera and LIDAR, ADAS ECU, features and real-time software modules would be beneficial
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Transports between offices, workshop and test on-site support.
Lead installing test equipment with support from workshop technician.
Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
Monitors and utilizes computers or test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
