The Treasury Manager role will assist the Corporate Treasurer with the management of all treasury related activities within a multinational business environment and will be responsible for both project-based and daily activities in the areas of global banking, liquidity management, cash forecasting, credit and collection and accounts payable. This role will provide a unique opportunity for the right individual to experience a variety of corporate finance applications and develop leadership and critical decision making skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage treasury analyst team consisting of two colleagues / direct reports

  • Oversee the management of regional banking operations in North America and APAC regions, including policies and procedures

  • Support global cash forecasting via the management of regional cash forecasts for North American and APAC operations

  • Assist Corporate Treasurer with financial risk management initiatives and strategies as they relate to interest rates and foreign exchange

  • Manage intercompany transaction settlements, including intercompany loans and spot foreign exchange transactions

  • Support debt covenant compliance requirements and the general maintenance of the company’s credit facilities

  • Provide detailed transaction support to accounting as part of their month-end, quarter-end and annual reporting cycles

  • Work closely with other departments including financial planning and analysis, tax and corporate development on special projects as needed

Leadership & People Management

  • Perform general management responsibilities such as hiring, performance management, performance reviews, individual development activities, etc.

  • Monitor team performance against department standards, and ensure that these standards are consistently met or exceeded

  • Act as escalation point for issues and provide leadership and guidance to team

  • Provide necessary work direction and manage projects effectively through planning, organization and project management

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree.

  • 7+ years’ experience with financial risk management (e.g. foreign exchange and interest rates)

  • 2+ year’s work experience in Treasury or other corporate finance roles with international scope (e.g. Financial Planning and Analysis)

  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Advanced Degree in Finance and Accounting

  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) Qualification

  • Effective communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving and strategic thinking

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines

  • High level of integrity, initiative, motivation and curiosity

  • Experience with export letters of credit, documentary collections and standby letters of credit a plus

  • Advanced computer skills, including a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
