We're looking for a 1st Shift Sr Material Handler Lead!

Position Overview:

Join Entrust as a Sr. Material Handler Lead and work in our air-conditioned, organized warehouse on our Warehouse team focused on receiving, shipping, inventory control, and/or manufacturing build support. The Sr. Material Handler Lead is responsible for the safe, accurate, and productive handling of materials in the warehouse and manufacturing floor. This position is 40 hours per week with the possibility of overtime. First shift works Monday through Friday with potential flexibility on schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate priorities and assist in work direction to the department

  • Facilitate training and recommend options for cross training to ensure adequate coverage for area

  • First point of contact to solve daily work issues. (System transactions, equipment malfunction, etc.) Escalate concerns to appropriate next level

  • Complies with safety, quality, and process guidelines and ensures team is aware of and follows them

  • May recommend overtime or reassignment of resources to meet schedules and requirements

  • Increased responsibility and authority to process transactions in the system to maintain inventory accuracy and accounting integrity

  • Provide input on department and team member performance to supervisor or manager

  • Accurately pick work orders and sales orders using wireless handheld terminal

  • Quality check customer orders

  • Participates in cycle counts of assigned lines

  • Receive and put-away of incoming material and perform inventory transfers as required

  • Adhere to all processes and procedures related to picking, packing, crating

  • Adhere to safety and housekeeping policies, including safety shoes, safety glasses and ESD smocks.

  • Assist with various warehouse projects and other duties as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent education and experience

  • 3 years of experience working in a warehouse or inventory control position or similar experience

  • Must be able to communicate in basic English, including reading, writing, and comprehension

  • Must be able to accurately perform basic math

  • Position requires repeated physical lifting, bending, standing, stooping, and walking for the full shift

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Must be able to obtain Entrust forklift certification within 120 days of starting or timeframe determined by the business environment at that time

  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Use of manual and powered material handling equipment (Fork truck/lift certification, pallet jack)

  • Experience using an RF scanner

  • Oracle WMS knowledge and experience

  • Precision shipping software experience
