Description Job Summary: A Cage Lead working in a fast-paced Card Casino. This position's primary duty is to oversee the cage personnel and assist with the basic functions in the Cage; which includes exchanging guest's chips for cash, issuing dealer banks, and most importantly, providing excellent guest service. Responsible for supporting the Companies mission, vision, and values by providing fun and games like no place else, and adheres to the Canterbury Way by focusing on our core values. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Lead by example. Responsible for maintaining a high degree of hospitality, as well as a positive and professional demeanor at all times. Creates high levels of morale, fosters teamwork, inspires collaboration, delegates effectively and coaches and mentors direct reports for growth opportunities. Responsible for safeguarding Cage assets. Responsible for guest service, relations, and arbitration of disputes to assure internal and external guests have the "Canterbury Way" experience. Ensure cage functions comply with department rules and regulations, including BSA/AML policies and procedures. Prepare daily shift reports and reconcile beginning and ending cash balances. Verification of tax forms, jackpot and tournament paperwork. Assist in new hire training and main bank duties. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervision: Cage Cashier Required Qualifications: One-year of cage cashier experience required Must be at least 18 years of age. Basic technical knowledge of counting and cage equipment. Excellent leadership and communications skills. Excellent guest service skills. Basic math aptitude required. Must possess the ability to work in a team-based environment. Must be able to pass Canterbury Park's pre-employment screening which includes a criminal background check, verification of work history, and credit check. Must be able to attain a Minnesota Racing Commission (MRC) license.
