1st Shift: Electromechanical Assembler Needed!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembler for our 1st shift, which runs from 6/7 AM to 3:30/4:30 PM. In this role, you will assemble electronic controllers using drawings and procedures, perform detailed testing to ensure compliance with specifications, and maintain control over inventory. You will also work closely with the engineering team to correct and improve products and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic controllers using drawings and procedures.

• Perform detailed testing to control units to verify compliance with all specifications.

• Maintain a neat and organized work area.

• Work closely with engineering to correct and improve products and procedures.

• Work closely with others within the electronics area and other work areas as required.

• Float to the final pump assembly department to assemble various sub-assemblies as needed.

• Assemble different platforms and configurations within these platforms.

• Perform product verification and testing to ensure the product meets all internal and customer specifications.

• Package products for the Shipping Department when needed.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6 months of assembly experience.

• Experience with soldering and schematics/blueprints.

• Proficiency in wiring, soldering, electronic assembly, and using hand and power tools.

Work Environment

You will be working in a temperature-controlled environment, primarily in a bench assembly position. The facility requires employees to wear smocks and be grounded to the bench they are working at. Our production team consists of 25 people out of a total of 40 employees, making a positive and collaborative culture very important.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of SHAKOPEE, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00
