The School Liaison will provide direct mental health services in rural county school systems. They will provide training and education to teachers, school staff, and students to promote healthy learning environments. Liaisons will provide direct services to students requiring social work intervention and support, including individual, family, and group counseling. Liaisons will also collaborate with families, teachers, and providers to assist in the development of Individualized Education Plans (IEP).

Overview:

• Location: Sevierville, TN and surrounding areas

• Duration: Through June 1, 2025 with possibility for renewal

• Population Served: Middle school-aged students

• Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm

  Minimum Requirements:

• Master's degree in social work or related human services field

• At least one (1) year of experience providing services in similar setting

• Basic computer skills including proficiency with email, timekeeping, and EMR documentation systems

• Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team and coworkers while also maintaining effective time management and organizational skills

• Demonstrate knowledge and competency in mental health service provision and leadership

• Active CPR certification

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
