Amazon Sr. Infrastructure Modernization Sales Specialist in Seoul, South Korea

Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon in Korea as a key technology platform provider? AWS is leading the next paradigm shift in information technology and is looking for world-class candidates to join AWS Migration & Modernization Team as a Sr. Infrastructure Modernization Sales Specialist in Korea. You will play a key role in accelerating the Cloud Migration & Modernization journey for these customers. You will identify opportunities to adoption of AWS Cloud with these customers and develop repeatable strategies to modernize customer's IT infrastructure. You will communicate the modernization proposition for AWS cloud to a broad audience of IT, business & finance leaders at AWS. You will work with partners and other groups within AWS to give customers the best insights into how to run their applications on AWS cloud, in the most cost-effective manner.

Key job responsibilities

• Create & articulate compelling value propositions for AWS Migration & Modernization.

• Defines, builds and deploys sales campaigns to migrate and modernize on-premise, virtualized or other cloud Infrastructures to AWS environments.

• Drives sales engagement with cloud economic values for AWS Modernization.

• Engages in senior level customer meetings to discuss customer’s business issues and explores how AWS Modernization can help address and resolve customer issues.

• Manage business with the senior management regarding progress for strategic initiatives.

• Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.

About the team

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience

  • Experience in business development, partner development, sales or alliances management

  • Experience in building profitable partner ecosystems

  • Exploration of pain points through assessment, analysis of before/after transformation, and suggestion of alternatives to legacy infrastructure services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans

  • Knowledge of software development practices and data center/infrastructure/networking technologies

  • Experience with selling virtualization solutions like VMware, Windows, RedHat, or Nutanix.
