Microsoft Corporation Solution Area Specialists (Modern Work Solution) in Seoul, South Korea

Discovers and qualifies new leads. Drives consumption with new and existing customers. Identifies market and customer needs and collaborates with internal teams to devise solutions to meet those needs. Orchestrates deals across multiple stakeholder groups including partners. Positions Microsoft solutions in competitive landscape through research and collaboration. Utilizes industry expertise to differentiate Microsoft solutions. Develops and manages pipeline for territory and forecasts resource needs. Meets with customers on site to deepen relationships and solution development.

Responsibilities

  1. Sales Execution:

  2. Engage in conversations with industry-aligned customers to introduce how other workloads can enable digital transformation.

  3. Collaborate with team members to discover new opportunities and drive incremental revenue growth.

  4. Identify opportunities for consumption and business growth with existing customers.

  5. Propose solutions that align with customer needs and articulate their business value.

  6. Build external stakeholder relationships and engage senior decision makers.

  7. Scaling and Collaboration:

  8. Collaborate with partners to cross-sell and up-sell.

  9. Leverage internal relationships and partners to maximize impact.

  10. Technical Expertise:

  11. Leads conversations and sets up events within Microsoft.

  12. Mentors others and develops strategies for best practice sharing.

  13. Acts as a subject matter expert in one or more solution areas.

  14. Collaborates with global black belts to analyze competitor products and implement strategies to position Microsoft favorably.

  15. Sales Excellence:

  16. Collaborates with partners and leverages customer insights.

  17. Reviews feedback reports and coaches others on improving customer satisfaction.

  18. Engages with internal and external stakeholders for business planning.

  19. Conducts business analysis to pursue high-potential customers.

  20. Manages the end-to-end business of the assigned territory.

  21. Training and Certifications:

  22. Completes required training and obtains relevant product and role certifications.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience

  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience

  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.

  • 4+ years solution or services sales experience.
