Stryker Sales Representative, Neurovascular in Seoul, South Korea

Main responsibilities include:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of division products and services.

  • Regularly visit existing and potential customers to promote products and achieve sales targets.

  • Manage existing accounts and acquire new customers within the assigned territory.

  • Plan and develop market strategies aligned with divisional goals, optimizing tools like consignment.

  • Provide ongoing technical training and angio room support to customers.

  • Attend meetings, conferences, and exhibitions to promote Stryker NV products and services.

  • Analyze and report market feedback using available tools to your manager on a regular basis.

  • Represent Stryker’s values and maintain integrity in all activities.

Planning:

  • Maintain updated account plans and customer profiles, including top accounts and key decision-makers.

  • Track sales performance with tools like budgets, forecasts, and sales history (MTD, QTD, YTD).

  • Develop yearly, quarterly, and monthly plans to exceed performance expectations.

  • Monitor territory sales, initiate corrective actions, and prepare reports on territory management.

  • Maximize customer contact by planning efficient workdays focused on selling activities.

  • Understand and leverage the commission plan to maximize income.

Selling:

  • Be available 24/7 for emergency in-service support.

  • Focus on key accounts and use pre-call planning to ensure effective sales calls.

  • Set SMART objectives for each sales interaction and spend substantial time in the field.

  • Maintain an organized sales bag with demo stock, key literature, and sales tools.

  • Use effective sales techniques, including pre-call planning, offering solutions, and handling objections.

  • Conduct regular in-services to reinforce product benefits and facilitate successful product evaluations.

  • Stay updated on clinical and product knowledge and articulate Stryker’s key messages effectively.

  • Understand competitors’ strategies and leverage side-by-side comparisons to highlight product strengths.

  • Continuously review sales calls to evaluate success factors and areas for improvement.

Academic qualifications / degree & relevant prior experience:

  • BA in medical or healthcare related preferred

  • 1-2 years’ sales & marketing experience in

medical devices or healthcare industry

preferred

  • Experience dealing with doctors & hospitals, familiar with medical terms preferred
