Position summary:
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of Stryker medical equipment and systems. This role involves scheduling and performing on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs, as well as providing technical support to customers.
Essential duties & responsibilities: (detailed description)
Installation:
Plan and execute installations of new equipment and systems.
Configure and calibrate equipment to meet specific customer requirements.
Ensure proper installation and functionality.
Maintenance:
Perform routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
Identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
Repair:
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems.
Repair faulty components and systems.
Implement effective solutions to restore equipment functionality.
Customer Support:
Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and service requests.
Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Quality Assurance:
Verify and approve the operational quality of Stryker systems and equipment.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality control procedures.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records, including maintenance logs and repair reports.
Prepare detailed documentation for future reference and troubleshooting.
Training:
Conduct training sessions for customers and internal team members on equipment operation and maintenance.
Travel:
Frequent travel, including overnight stays, is required to visit customer sites.
Ability to respond to urgent service calls and work flexible hours
Education & special trainings:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic knowledge in Bio- medical technology and electronic products
Proficient in MS Office suite of products such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Qualifications & experience:
Above 2 years as a field service engineer required.

Physical & mental requirements:
Possess a very high degree of technical proficiency, excellent problem solving skills, and analytical ability.
Strong electronics and mechanical skills are required.
Good communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with customers are necessary.
Ability to work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
Understanding of robotics, experience selling products and services, multiple project and time management skills, and a working knowledge of Windows operating systems and office applications required.
Must be prepared for frequent travel, including to regional areas, and capable of responding promptly to urgent issues as they arise.
