Our Team:

Corporate Affairs reinforces Sanofi’s corporate reputation and contribute to transforming healthcare policy ecosystem through strategic stakeholder engagement and external affairs. Corporate Affairs creates ‘play to win momentums’ with designing and implementing Public Affairs, External/internal Communications, CSR, Patient Advocacy initiatives.

Main responsibilities:

  • Implement public affairs and patient advocacy initiatives to shape the favorable policy and external environment and influence policy decision markers for the benefit of pharma/vaccine business

  • Create and execute policy shaping public affairs activities through strategic external stakeholder engagement for new launches and growth assets

  • Enhance Sanofi’s industry leadership position among key external stakeholders, particularly patient advocacy and Patient Advocacy Group engagement while accelerating the patient’s better access to innovative solutions

  • Contribute to positioning Sanofi as an industry leader in the country, policy and environment shaping for a better ecosystem to support sustainable growth of key products among patient organizations and external stakeholders

  • Work across the business to identify the cross-cutting policy priorities for the country’s business and ensure alignment of external messaging and public affairs activity

  • Collaborate external engagement with relevant country’s patient organisations to support country’s business priorities and to ensure alignment with global activities

  • Enhance the organizational understanding of the patient journeys by identifying their unmet needs and help address issues and pain points

  • Provide patient insights to be reflected in the business strategy planning and decision making process

  • Manage the process of healthcare donations, medical contributions, disease awareness campaigns for patient organizations

  • Lead communications and relations with patient groups

  • Comply with relevant laws, regulations and the KRPIA code as well as internal policy and SOPs when it comes to interacting with patients and patient groups

About you

  • Experience: 7-10 years experience of successfully executing a pharma and vaccine Public Affairs and patient advocacy responsibilities to deliver towards the company strategy

  • Soft skills: Broad based knowledge of the Sanofi pharma/vaccine portfolio, strategy, company and services. Demonstrated ability to influence relationships and leverage knowledge internally across a matrix structure to drive collaboration and optimise opportunities to achieve shared goals. Success in stakeholder management.

  • Technical skills: Strong understanding of healthcare ecosystem and landscape of patient organizations

  • Languages: Fluent both in Korean and English
