Amazon Business Development Manager, Amazon Global Selling Korea, SAS-Pro in Seoul, South Korea

Description

We are looking for a results-driven individual to drive the awareness and enrollment of Strategic Account Services - Pro by recruiting Korea-based strategic sellers (brand owner or manufacturer) to maximize their presence and business in Amazon Global marketplaces. Strategic Account Services - Pro is a program that offers professional paid value-added services including account management and business consultation. This role will be responsible for Seller acquisition, demand generation from medium to large corporates and driving business growth for this new service.

Background on Amazon Global Selling: “Selling on Amazon” business exists in 11+ countries and exceeds 40% of total Amazon unit sales and growing. Each year, tens of thousands of businesses join the marketplace adding millions of new products. Amazon’s vision is to offer the earth’s largest product selection and lowest prices for our customers. One way we deliver on this vision is by marketing to local country Sellers to persuade them to launch their products onto the platform thereby maximizing the quantity of items that they list while ensuring the highest quality of product images and information.

Key job responsibilities

  • Drive Strategic Account Service enrollment

  • Build and manage pipelines for recruitment and develop GTM strategies

  • Work closely with internal teams including Account Managers, Marketing, Sales Ops, etc. for best Seller experience

  • Develop thorough understanding of the industry to guide potential Sellers

  • Show strong competency in delivering result, bias for actions, dive deep, ownership, earn trust and customer obsession

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 5+ years of sales or marketing work (like e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS) or equivalent experience

  • Language: Korean and English

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inside sales experience

  • Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level

  • Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach or equivalent
