Description
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for motivated technologists who possess a unique balance of technical depth, business knowledge, and strong interpersonal skills. You will partner with customers and several AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that address customer business problems. As a trusted customer advocate, you will help organizations understand best practices around cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud.
You will join as part of the AWS Professional Services (ProServe) Associate to Consultant (A2C) global practice, which focuses on the incubation of early career professionals.
Our team members work with enterprise customers locally, regionally, domestically, and internationally. As such, this role has up to 100% travel associated. This role will be expected to work from customer sites throughout Korea.
Key job responsibilities
As an Associate Cloud Architect, you will receive instruction and on-the-job training on a range of AWS services and solutions to be an expert in cloud-based infrastructure and networking. The Associate Cloud Architects are expected to work on implementing highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software, automating infrastructure provisioning and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines, and optimizing cloud infrastructure operation.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest-growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers, including the public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
The Professional Services team at AWS is responsible for assisting enterprise customers as they shift to the cloud by incorporating our services into their overall architecture. We work hand-in-hand with customer teams and AWS partners to provide deep expertise in the architecture, design, development, and implementation of cloud computing initiatives that result in real business outcomes. As part of our team, you’ll accelerate the adoption of our products all while advocating for the success of our customers.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
Familiarity with Networking fundamentals, Security, Databases (Relational and/or NoSQL), Operating Systems (Unix, Linux, and/or Windows)
Experience developing software code in one or more programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Python, etc).
Strong technical communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
Implementation experience with AWS services
Experience with systems administration (Linux/Windows) or network administration (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing).
Troubleshooting: Experience with QA, testing, helpdesk, IT support, or any technician or quality assurance type work.
