Financial Reporting

ž Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with the company reporting guidelines and K-GAAP.

ž Oversee the consolidation of financial results from multiple entities, with total revenue of approximately 1 trillion KRW.

ž Monitor balance sheet analysis with supporting documentation, including account analysis and reconciliations.

ž Review P&L activities, investigating any unusual activities with a specific focus on sensitive areas such T&E, no charge merchandise, and other areas of focus and risk as they evolve.

ž Actively participate in the community of practice forum, lead governance processes and make proposals for entities accordingly.

ž Review KPIs and implement corrective actions, if any, with organization process owners.

ž Liaise with external auditors to ensure all audit requirements are met.

ž Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations, implementing necessary adjustments.

Compliance

ž Lead the internal control process including SOX controls and control assessment, especially with the new business requirements.

ž Control the operational process to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

ž Develop and refine the policies and procedures as needed and monitor changes in global policies to ensure alignment with local policies.

ž Ensure adherence to statutory reporting requirements.

Leadership

ž Provide strategic direction and guidance to the accounting team.

ž Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team across multiple legal entities.

ž Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.

ž Optimize the use of the shared service center for efficient transaction processing.

Operational Efficiency

ž Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting function.

ž Implement best practices in financial processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

ž Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including leadership team, Regional or Global governance groups, auditors and government authorities.

ž Collaborate with other departments to support company-wide initiatives and projects.

Qualifications

ž Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification preferred.

ž Minimum of 15 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role

ž Proven experience managing accounting operations for multiple legal entities.

ž Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards.

ž Experience in a large, complex organization.

ž Excellent leadership and team management skills.

ž Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

ž Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

ž Experience with shared service centers and matrix organizations is preferred.
