Job description:

THE NEED IS FOR TWO POSITIONS IN SENECA, KS. DUTIES: SUPPORT CURRENT WAREHOUSE EMPLOYEES IN THE DAILY WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT, HELP WITH FERTILIZER PRODUCTION AND HELP WITH BUILDING EXPANSION NEEDS. EMPLOYEE WILL NEED TO ENSURE CLEANLINESS, TIDINESS, AND SAFETY OF WORK ENVIRONMENT, ASSIST WITH THE LOADING AND UNLOADING OF MATERIALS, ACCEPT DELIVERY OF INVENTORY, COUNTING AND CONFIRMING INVENTORY, INSPECTING INVENTORY FOR DAMAGE AND FAULTS, COMMUNICATE ERRORS TO RELEVANT PARTIES, OPERATE A FORKLIFT AND OTHER WAREHOUSE SUPPORT EQUIPMENT. ASSIST AND SUPPORT CURRENT STAFF IN BUILDING EXPANSION WHERE NEEDED. WILL DRIVE TRUCKS TO MOVE TANK TRAILERS ON-SITE WHEN NEEDED, PICK UP RAW MATERIALS, AND DELIVER MATERIALS TO CUSTOMERS. ASSIST WITH LIGHT REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE OF MACHINES, TRUCKS AND TRAILERS. RECORD DETAILS OF REPAIRS MADE AND PARTS USED. PERFORM PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES SUCH AS: LIFT, BALANCE, WALK, STOOP, HANDLE, POSITION, MOVE, MANIPULATE MATERIALS USE STATIC STRENGTH TO EXERT MAX MUSCLE FORCE TO LIFT, PUSH, PULL, CARRY OBJECTS UP TO 100LBS (POSSIBLE 2-PERSON). ASSIST WITH PACKAGING OF MATERIALS, RESEARCH FARM OPERATIONS, BLENDING AND MANUFACTURING OF MATERIALS, AND LIGHT ELECTRICAL AND CONSTRUCTION WORK. OCCASIONALLY EMPLOYEE MAY OPERATE OTHER EQUIPMENT ON SITE INCLUDING A TELEHANDLER, FARM TRUCKS, WELDING AND CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT. PACKAGE TWO 2.5 GALLON JUGS IN BOXES, AND OPERATE THE EQUIPMENT TO BLEND FERTILIZERS AND FILL TOTES AND TANKS WITH LIQUID FERTILIZER. PERFORM RESEARCH FARM OPERATION SUPPORT WHICH WILL INCLUDE GENERAL FARM MAINTENANCE AND OPERATING TRACTORS AND FARM EQUIPMENT FOR FERTILIZER RESEARCH. ASSIST WITH LIGHT ELECTRICAL AND CONSTRUCTION WORK BY HOLDING TOOLS, RUNNING FOR ITEMS NEEDED, OPERATING HAMMERS AND OTHER HAND TOOLS. OCCASIONALLY EMPLOYEE MAY OPERATE OTHER EQUIPMENT ON SITE INCLUDING A TELEHANDLER, FORK LIFT, YARD GOAT, TRACTOR, WELDER, GOLF CART, LAWN MOWER AND PALLET JACK.

Special Skills

Must have a valid drivers license. Some construction and electrical knowledge and skills. General truck and trailer maintenance skills. General farm knowledge and farm equipment skills. Welding skills and basic math knowledge. Must speak English and be willing to learn

Work dates and hours:

Work is to begin October 01, 2024 and the ending date is June 01, 2026.

Work will be in Seneca, Kansas. Worker will be a temporary full-time worker.

Employees expected daily schedule will be from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Employees will be paid \$23.52 per hour. Employees will be paid twice per month. Should worker require overtime pay, the overtime pay rate will be \$35.28/hr. The Employer will make all deductions from the workers paycheck that are required by law. Employees will be responsible for finding their own lodging.

Reimbursement Guarantees Mandated by Law:

As applicable, the employer will reimburse in the first work week all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, as mandated by the government and not exceeding the mandated reimbursements. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.

If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for employees reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except wher the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable provided at a rate of \$15.88
