Amazon DSP Account Manager, Delivery Service Provider Program in Tokyo, Japan
Description
Amazon Last Mile Account Management Team at Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is looking for a Delivery Service Partner (DSP) Account Manager.
The Account Manager plays a key role in successful on-boarding of new DSP partners ensuring operational readiness, relationship management and capacity building in last mile delivery.
The ideal candidate is customer obsessed, organized, works with internal and external stakeholders and enjoys the challenges of working in a fast paced environment. The DSP Account Manager also assists DSP's business owner to be successful during ramping up and preparation for the peak.
The DSP Account Manager offers value added opportunities and is responsible for managing the DSP entire lifecycle of the business. The DSP Account Manager works closely with the DSP owners to understand the issues facing them and suggests possible solutions and ensure success as DSPs.
Key job responsibilities
Provide best in class support for DSPs as they transition from training to fully operational
Partner with cross functional stakeholders including DSP team and operations teams to drive a culture of collaboration to ensure quality performance and accountability to the program requirements
As DSPs scale their business, support with the operational issues and ensure that DSPs are set up for effective and timely ramp-up and peak preparations
Conduct Business Reviews to discuss business performance and new opportunities, as well as to provide benchmarking data and insights
Identify waste and inefficiencies in the process and implement improvements at the network level and for DSP owner experience
Meet DSP owner at Gemba frequently to support the portfolio of assigned DSP owners during onboarding, ramp up and once operation is stabilized
Ensure value added services offered are implemented by DSPs when elected
Provide launch and progress reports /dashboard to the team and leaders with goal and status
Travel (2,3 days/week); the Candidate must be flexible with hours and travel to support the portfolio of assigned DSP owners as needed

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
3+ years of client or vendor facing roles with a focus in relationship management and negotiation skills experience
2+ years of experience in managing vendors / 3rd party service providers or similar external companies or key accounts
Relevant experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
Relevant experience in using data analytics to solve problems such as customer, partner or business performance issues
Business level of Japanese and English
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of client or vendor facing roles with a focus in relationship management and negotiation skills experience
Experience aggregating and analyzing internal and external campaign metrics to assess performance drivers and identify insights
Last Mile, Operations, or small parcel packaging experience

Verbal, written, and presentation skills, particularly in delivering constructive feedback and working through complex issues
Ability to handle complex issues/ challenges, decisions, and escalations
Problem solving and risk analysis skills
Experience in taking ownership and executing projects
Excellent project management skill
Experience in collaborating with stakeholders to transform ideas into action
Experience in process improvement and data analysis, resulting in effective business judgement and decisions
