This is a Job Description for an NPL Supply Chain Specialist in Senatobia, Mississippi

Summary: In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the development of the planning and fulfillment-related processes, skills, and tools. Each day, you will support performance improvement, including customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization.

 

Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and execute material plans for new product introductions, ensuring alignment with project timelines and milestones.

 Collaborate with product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to forecast material needs and manage inventory levels. Monitor inventory levels and lead times to mitigating risks of stockouts or delays in production.

 Analyze and report on material usage trends, adjusting plans as necessary to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

 Participate in cross-functional meetings to communicate material status, risks, and opportunities.

 Conduct supplier evaluations and managing relationships to ensure quality and reliability of materials. Utilize ERP systems and tools to track materials and inventory metrics.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. 0-2 years of experience in material planning, supply chain management, or related roles, preferably in a manufacturing or NPI environment. Strong understanding of material requirements planning (MRP) and inventory management principles. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with new product introduction processes and methodologies. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and supply chain optimization techniques. Candidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
