DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, evaluating, supervising, and delivering nursing services at Selinsgrove Center. You will oversee the development, implementation, assessment, and monitoring of treatment plans for individuals. You may serve as a shift supervisor, managing the administration of nursing services. Additionally, you will guide non-professional staff in delivering health and related services, plan and organize work to ensure comprehensive nursing services are provided for residents in your area, and contribute to the development, review, training, and implementation of policies and procedures. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, working every other weekend, with 30-minute lunch. Overtime is required as needed. FREE PARKING! QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years as a Registered Nurse (commonwealth title); or Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.

Special Requirements: All positions require active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.

Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
