Hiring Millwrights / Installers in Selinsgrove, PA!

Job Description

A company based out of Selingsgrove, PA is seeking garage door installers within a 60-mile radius of Selingsgrove. The company specializes in garage door installations for car dealerships, manufacturing facilities, and more. Candidates will meet at the shop and take company vehicles to job sites, with travel time paid for.

Responsibilities

• Install garage doors at various locations including car dealerships and manufacturing facilities.

• Read and interpret tape measure readings accurately.

• Utilize troubleshooting skills for installation issues.

• Use carpentry skills and hand and power tools effectively.

• Work at heights up to 40 feet on ladders and lifts.

• Collaborate with small teams to complete projects.

• Lift and handle materials weighing up to 100 lbs.

Essential Skills

• Mechanically inclined.

• Ability to read a tape measure.

• Experience with hand and power tools.

• Comfortable working at heights up to 40 feet.

• Ability to lift 100 lbs.

• Valid driver's license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and punctuality.

• Willingness to learn and adapt.

• Ability to work long hours when necessary.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted both indoors and outdoors. The role involves working on ladders and lifts, and regularly lifting materials weighing up to 100 lbs. Employees will typically work from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional extended hours to complete installations. Current work hours are approximately 42-45 hours per week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $24.00
