Description

We are looking for a diligent Treasury Analyst/Assistant Treasurer to join our team. The role involves managing our organization's daily cash positions, identifying and managing financial risks, and maintaining relationships with banking and financial institutions.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor daily cash positions and forecasts to ensure that liquidity needs are met

• Identify and manage financial risks, including interest rate risks, foreign exchange exposure, and credit risks

• Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to optimize banking services and fees

• Develop and implement investment strategies for idle funds to maximize returns while minimizing risks

• Evaluate and manage the organization's debt portfolio, including borrowing needs and debt refinancing

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to treasury operations

• Prepare regular reports on treasury activities, cash flow projections, and financial performance for management and stakeholders

• Continuously improve treasury processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Utilize accounting software systems, including Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, Microsoft Excel, etc., to perform accounting functions, manage banking operations, and process checks and credit

• Leverage strong analytical and communication skills to interpret complex financial data and manage relationships with banks, stakeholders, and internal departments.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role such as Treasury Analyst or Assistant Treasurer

• Proficient with Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) and IBM AS/400 systems

• Experience with Management Systems

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Ability to effectively perform Accounting Functions

• Experience in Banking Operation

• Proficient in managing Cash Activity

• Familiarity with Check Processing procedures

• Knowledge of Credit management and related procedures.
