Robert Half Financial Analyst in Secaucus, New Jersey

Description

We are seeking a Financial Analyst based in Secaucus, New Jersey. This is a hybrid position. This position is part of our finance department and plays a crucial role in the financial planning and analysis process. The role involves identifying issues and trends, making proactive and insightful recommendations, and performing accurate financial analysis in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans.

Responsibilities:

• Actively assist in the preparation and presentation of annual operating and capital budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans to senior management

• Provide timely, accurate and credible updated business plans based on budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans to relevant stakeholders

• Take ownership of key processes in monthly closings and financial reporting

• Prepare monthly management reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders and create ad hoc reporting as requested

• Establish and maintain effective working relationships by synthesizing data, analyzing findings, and communicating results to stakeholders

• Monitor financial and operating KPIs and provide actionable insights to senior management

• Ensure contractual commitments are clearly documented, understood and met

• Prepare, maintain, and monitor accurate monthly tracking of capital expenditures

• Prepare, maintain, and monitor monthly working capital and cash flow

• Review daily transactions according to current financial processes to ensure accuracy

• Assist in the design, set-up and ongoing improvement of the Financial Systems and related systems as needed

• Create, maintain, and support the development of reports and dashboards for ongoing needs

• Identify trends/issues and problem solve to improve quality of financial results

Requirements

• Understanding and experience with CapEx and OPEX

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Experience with ERP Solutions is beneficial

• Knowledge of Tableau or PowerBi is preferred. Advanced Excel is required.

• Proficiency in 'About Time' software is beneficial

• Capability to handle Accounting Functions effectively

• Media or Entertainment industry

• Degree in Finance or related field is required

• Strong analytical skills are necessary for the role

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Willingness to continuously learn and adapt in a dynamic industry
