The role you’ll contribute:

This position provides meal assistance to patients on a daily basis through meal selection, preparation, assembly, delivery and retrieval. The position is responsible for calculating modified diets, fluid restrictions, calories, etc. for patient meals based on prescribed diets. This position also performs assorted kitchen duties including food safety, department sanitation, food preparation, stocking and restocking of food/food products, and date labeling of food/food products. The ability to provide excellent customer service to all of our guests is a key competency of this position.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Accurately assists patients with making appropriate daily menu selections based on prescribed diets,

· Properly prepares and assembles patient meal trays according to department standards,

· Delivers and retrieves trays in accordance with department timelines,

· Accurately calculates modified diets, fluid restrictions, calories, etc. for patient meals based on prescribed diets,

· Correctly provides nutrition supplements as ordered,

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed

· Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)

· 2 years customer service or hospitality related industry, preferably with restaurant/food service background (Preferred)
