We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Visual Designer in the healthcare industry, based in Seattle, Washington. As a Visual Designer, you will be involved in supporting a busy communications and marketing team with a range of tasks. This role involves the creation of layout designs, managing social media posts, and supporting brand awareness initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop layout designs for various communication and promotional materials, encompassing both digital and print formats

• Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Photoshop, to create appealing designs

• Develop templates for Adobe CC and Microsoft Office to ensure consistent branding across all platforms

• Create engaging social media content and graphics, and manage the posting of this content to various social media platforms

• Produce event collateral, reports, and informational handouts to support marketing initiatives

• Work on creating advertisements, with a focus on brand awareness

• Use Microsoft PowerPoint to create dynamic presentations and templates

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 7am-6pm

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will be highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Must be collaborative with strong communication skills and a go-getter attitude.

• Applicant must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in the visual design field

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is expected, especially Adobe InDesign and Photoshop

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator is preferred

• Familiarity with digital design tools and techniques is required

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint

• The candidate should be able to create engaging social media content

• Experience in designing social media graphics is necessary

• The applicant should be knowledgeable about various social media platforms

• The ability to create and modify design templates is required
